TWO CHEX JEWEL "Chexy"
BREED: AQHA
DOB: April 12, 2009
Sire: Chex Nu Jewel
Dam: San Andrea Chex
Chexy's pedigree.
This pretty filly is sired by Chex Nu Jewel (Over $1950 in earnings), making her a granddaughter to Nu Chex To Cash (NRHA $57,583, NRCHA $1,558). Her dam San Andrea Chex NRHA open money earner is an own daughter of Peppy Badger Chex (2 TIME AQHA WORLD CHAMPION. NRHA WORLD CHAMPION!). Other legendary names in this litttle girl's pedigree include Amarilla Chex (#3 leading dam of AQHA reining point earners), Big Step, Peppy San Badger (AQHA World Reining Champion, NRHA $4,071, NRCHA $2,166) and Fame Chex.
Her pedigree is packed with money earners and screams athleticism and talent. This filly will excel in reining, cutting, and/or working cowhorse. Ties, leads, and hauls great. Started with saddle and bridle, all she needs is the rider! Chexy is also great on the lunge line with side reins and surcingle. She has come a long way with her ground work and trust and is awesome to work in the roundpen. Just say 'woah' and she works the ground. Awesome way of going, as seen in the photos.
Chexy will be starting training Jan. 2012. I am excited to see this girl's talent. Hoping to get her shown this year as well!
Watch Chexy's video of her first time with the saddle on.

CAN'T HEAR GUNS "Calla"
BREED: AQHA/APHA
DOB: April 27, 2009
Sire: Colonels Lone Gun
Dam: Tootsie Toosail Chex
Calla's pedigree
Personality plus! This beautiful blue eyed girl has talent and is a quick learner. Very sweet and trusting. Such a charmer!
Unfortunately, it was not mentioned when I purchased her that Calla had contracted tendon surgery as a foal and due to improper care of it from her last owner, she came up lame a few days after she arrived. After 2 ultra sounds by 2 different vets, it was confirmed by both that this was NOT a recent injury, but was due to the surgery as a foal.
After many visits by my vet (ultrasounds and shock wave therapy),
9 months of stall rest, daily rehabilitation, and special shoes, she is doing well and hopefully will make a full recovery.
Calla will not be able to bring out her full potential in reining or cutting. But she will hopefully be good for light riding.
She will make an outstanding broodmare with her look, confirmation, temperment, and pedigree.
Her sire, COLONELS LONE GUN is a 1999 Bay/Overo Stallion. 2005 Intermediate Open Wimpys Little Step Derby Champion - 2003 APHA World Championship Junior Reining finalist; money earner in the 2002 Southwest RHA Intermediate Open Futurity; APHA Open reining point-earner.
Colonels Lone Gun is double registered AQHA and APHA.
He is sired by the famous 2 million dollar sire COLONELS SMOKING GUN (aka GUNNER), $173,728: NRHA Hall Of Fame and sire of multiple NRHA money earners.
Dam: TOOTSIE TOOSAIL CHEX - 2001 AQHA Beautiful Bay/Overo mare with white stockings and bald face. By Mia Topsail Too (Reining: Earned 1 Performance Win; 3.0 Performance points) out of a King Fritz granddaughter. Other great names on her pedigree include Topsail Cody (Million dollar and Hall of Fame Sire), Okie Leo (NCHA $1141), Doc Bar (Hall of Fame Sire, and offspring earned $1,178,484 in cutting).
Calla is very easy to work with and loves attention. Very level headed.
Her color test:
